God turns the nobody into somebody so everybody can see He can use anybody

Ø  Let him deny himself 

·         Matthew 16:24-25 > the kind of life Jesus wants us is deny ourselves.

·         There is Gods way & there is ours way.

·         1 Corinthians 1:27-29 > God has chosen things that are consider nothing for something.

·         God uses three kinds of people.

1.    Foolish

2.    Powerless

3.    despise 

·         God can use anybody.

·         God turns the nobody into somebody so everybody can see He can use anybody 

Ø  The nobody we are going to use as is....

·         Joseph means God shall add.

·         Stages of Joseph's life> Pit-Slavery-Imprisonment-Throne.

·         Pit experience > God was converting Joseph from somebody to nobody.

Ø  What did Joseph loose to become nobody?

1.    Joseph lost his personal identity- Genesis 37:23

2.    Joseph list his freedom- Genesis 37:28

3.    Joseph lost his national identity- Genesis 37:36

4.    Joseph lost his safety network- Genesis 37:3

Ø  After Pit experience, Joseph goes through various experiences.

1.    The Lord promoted Joseph - in prison & in Potiphar’s house- Genesis 29:4

2.    Joseph's superiors trusted in Joseph - Genesis 39:6

3.    God was developing Joseph's gifts 

4.    Joseph was tested- temptation test, falsely accused, passion test.

5.    God prospered everything Joseph did.

What did Joseph get when God converted him from nobody into somebody?

1.    He get linen clothe

2.    He is a governed of Egypt 

3.    He is married to a Egyptian woman & has two sons

4.    His father's house is protected from famine.

5.    His relationship was restored with his father & brothers

6.    His gets his freedom back

7.    the wealth of Egypt is at his disposal 

·        Genesis 45:5, 7, 8 > God made Joseph priest, prophet & king.
