·         Prayer should be more listening then talking
·         God talks to you through scripture
·         Predestination- God has a destination for you: your final destination is to be transform in Christ likeliness
2.    THANKSGIVING
Ø  Psalms 138:2
·         God is in total control
Ø  Why Thanks?
Ø  Psalms 118: 1, 28; Isaiah 6:1-3

Ø  Genesis 3:23-24, fire was not placed in front of the tree of knowledge but placed in front of the tree of life
Ø  Characteristic of fire:
·         Consuming everything, but for metal it would purify it.
Ø  To gain knowledge you don't need holy fire but to understand life you need Holy Spirit
Ø  When you baptize nobody need to tell you to go to church, to praise, and to worship, it’s a Holy Spirit who guide you to do.
Ø  Genesis 4:25; :John 4:23, in OT nobody worship God in Spirit

Burnt Offering: God wants everything on to the Altar, complete surrender then the fire come down

================================================================

Paul's social network
·         Acts 26:15-19
·         Who was Paul?
1 Corinthians 15:9, Paul was a murder; he was a real threat to the church.
·         We need people like:
                      i.        Ananias > the man who prayed for Paul.
ii.        Barnabas > "son of encouragement", he was a bridge builder.
iii.        Silas, the man who worshiped God in prison, Acts 16:25-26- we need people like Silas who will encourage us to worship God at all times.
iv.        Timothy > 2 Timothy 2:1-2, Philippians 2:19-22, Apostle Paul mentored Timothy as his son in the faith. We need to be leaders for people who will follow us.
                    v.        Eutychus > Acts 20:9-12: the man who will never sleep again during a sermon. We need people who think we are boring. There are people who are incompatible with you. You need them & they need you.
vi.        Paul's sister Son > Acts 23-12:14-16: Apostle Paul's nephew, he help protect Paul, we need family members who will look out for us and for our welfare.
vii.        Jason > Acts 17:5-9, the man who harbored Paul: we need friends like Jason: we can trust our lives with them, they can carry our burdens, and we can be ourselves when we are around them.

I am always on God’s Mind

>>  There are times in our life, when we feel alone, worried, guilty, denial, hurt….
>> Psalm 139:17-18 > God’s thought is so precious & weighty – both of quality and quantity; it cannot be compare with human terms. God is thinking such gentle and special thoughts toward us.
>>Jeremiah 29:11> whatever is your situation now, God wants to bring good ending in your life.
  • God knows your destiny – before you were born.
  •  God has a plan so you can reach your destiny.
  •  God has plans to prosper you in fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
  •  God has plans of hope & of a future.
  •  God has plans to fellowship with you in prayer.
  •  God has plans to listen and respond.
>> Five things we have to Remember-
1.   God cannot stop thinking about me, even for sinner.
2.    Isaiah 43:25> God cannot remember my sin I've confessed, Only God can wipe away your sin. God want a fresh start in my life to bring confidence in living with untroubled heart. Forgiveness brings great blessings because one is freed from guilt, granted eternal life, and restored to fellowship with God.
  •  Psalm 32:1-2> what is blessed mean? > To be envious.
   3.   Psalm 89:34> God does not change, nor what he said. People can break covenant, but God can not break a promise. God will not fail you.
4.    Jeremiah 32:17> There is nothing too hard for God.
  • When we pray don't limit God because of human limitation.
  •  God cannot take a job that He cannot handle.
  •  We limit God, when we think of Him within our limitations.
  •  We limit God, with lack of faith.
  •  John 5:15> without Jesus, we can do nothing. I'm a disable person without Jesus. When we are connected to the God, there is nothing impossible in our life.
  •  You can ask anything & it shall be done through Jesus.
5.    Jeremiah 31:3> God has everlasting love for me.
  •  Human love is limited, tested, but divine love is forever.
  •  God’s Love is Impressive.
  •  God’s Love is Infinite – everlasting.
  •  Human becomes time sensitive, but God is not time sensitive, in terms of eternity it's everlasting
  •  God’s Love is Individual.

>>What does everlasting means?
>>In Hebrew, everlasting means, from vanishing point of past to the vanishing point of future.
