What makes you beautiful?

Ø  Bible compares goodness with life & evil with darkness.
Ø  Control your anger in godly way.
Ø James 1:17-23
·         You can’t receive what God wants to give you until you accept the fact that your holding on to some things God wants you to give up.
·         Surrender means that I have given God permission to change, mold my life of anything that hinders me from becoming all that He wants me to be.
·         We need to surrender our anger to God and allow Him to change us.
·         Ask God to set a guard over your tongue.
·         In verse 19 it says that we should be "slow to speak", that means that we should be careful and thoughtful about what we say, especially when we are angry. Realize that the devil wants you to explode and lose your credibility.
·         If we will listen we will hear things needs for life, but we keep talking that bring trouble.
·         James told us to connect to listening. We should not be angry when we fail to win an argument.
·         Commit any situation where you are beginning to feel anger to God. (Eph 4:26) Give God control over that situation.
·         God wants us to learn from past mistakes.
·         Learn to attack problems not people. We can deal aggressively with others without disregard to others feelings. Christ got angry, but did so in a way that ultimately expressed value in others.
·         Surrender your temper to God; God can change you from the inside out.
Ø Mark 7: 1-8, 14-15, 21-23
·         Jesus is so concerned about cleaning our hearts instead of cleaning our hands. In verse 15 He said “Nothing outside a man or woman can make them `unclean’ by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a man or woman that makes them `unclean.’
·         And what are some these things on the inside? Scripture tells us they are evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, arrogance and folly.
·         God wants for you and me to be pure of heart. Be careful not to allow the customs and traditions of men to rule your life as opposed to holding high the cross.
·         The world wants you to look good on the outside but God wants you to look good on the inside.
·         Jesus took prophet Isaiah’s word to accuse them.
·         It's not he persons outside that makes them filthy, but it's their inside makes filthy, they put the law inside but not the word of god.
·         Let’s not be like a butterfly that covers the whole ground but be like a bee who gathers honey for us.
·         Don't let your anger allow forgetting who lives inside you.
