I'll deliver you, I'll redeem you & I'll take you out.

In the time of trouble, do you seek deliverance or his presence?

1.      Matthew 14:28 > “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
2.      Matthew 14:22 > the word constrained his disciples means that not something that they want to do in their free will, they have to obey the lord, they don't want to leave Jesus & go to the boat by them self.
Ø  Jesus first send the multitude away, then Jesus went to the mountain for prayer & at the same time his disciples started their journey. Jesus prepare himself by praying about 10~12 hrs. Before he made miracle, how many hours do we spend in prayer?
Ø  But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary, when you obey God’s command, you may face some contrary in your life.
3.      Matthew 14:27 > it is I; When Sea was tossed, it was darkness, sounds are too much, it's difficult situation to heard the voice, in our trouble situation he often try to talk to us but we are not able to hear him & understand. When everything is good in your life tune up your ear in presence of the lord, make it practice to listen to his voice so you can hear his voice in the time of the trouble.
4.      Matthew 14:28 > Though it was trouble situation, with high waves and contrary wind there, Peter was asking to be with him, Peter wanted to experience his presence, he wasn't asking for immediate deliverance from the trouble situation. When we are in trouble, we are looking for immediate deliverance instead of asking for his presence.
Ø  1st walk of Peter: He came out from the boat & walk towards the Jesus looking nowhere but Jesus only.
Ø  2nd walk of Peter: Now he was retuning with the presence of Jesus, now he was looking surrounding the situation with confidence, no fear to him because of the presence of the lord.
Ø  And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. If you have presence of God with you then you will experience miracle.
5.      Matthew 16:15-16 > Peter experience the miracle that’s why he had the answer. In your trouble time if you seek his presence instead of asking for the deliverance & walk with Jesus, you can face boldly to the problem & you will get the miracle /victory in the time of trouble, only you who will experience the miracle know that Jesus is the son of living God.
